About Department:

Welcome to the department of Mechanical engineering. The department of mechanical engineering is started in year 2012. The department is situated in extensive surroundings with a state of sculpture amenities and highly qualified faculty. The department works with the objective to improve technical knowledge and social awareness among the students. Perhaps even more significant is our continuous obligation to our students, assisting them to acquire, propagate, improve, and accomplish their objectives in their recreation to excel in their professional career. Mechanical department thoroughly follows consequence based learning in their teaching learning process, use of NPTEL videos, various animation and also industrial visit for the students essentially improve self-assurance of the students in the with regard to subject to appreciate. Students are provided the entire essential platform for their overall development in technical, regular academics, sports, cultural and curricular.

Laboratories in Department

Applies Thermodynamics Laboratory:

Thermodynamics is the branch of physical science concerned with heat and its relation to other forms of energy and work. It defines macroscopic variables (such as temperature, entropy, and pressure) that describe average properties of material bodies and radiation, and explains how they are related and by what laws they change with time. Thermodynamics does not describe the microscopic constituents of matter, and its laws can be derived from statistical mechanics. Lab consists of Steam power plant, Bomb calorimeter, Multistage Compressor Test rig etc.

Theory of Machines Laboratory:

The subject Theory of Machines may be defined as that branch of Engineering - Science, which deals with the study of relative motion between the various parts of machine, and forces which act on them. The knowledge of this subject is very essential for an engineer in designing the various parts of a machine. Lab Consists of Compound Pendulum Apparatus, Bifilar Suspension Apparatus, Trifilar Suspension Apparatus, Hooks Joint Angular measurement apparatus etc.

CAD / CAM Laboratory:

Computer-aided design (CAD), also known as computer-aided design and drafting (CADD), is the use of computer systems to assist in the creation, modification, analysis, or optimization of a design. Computer-aided drafting describes the process of creating a technical drawing with the use of computer software. CAD software is used to increase the productivity of the designer, improve the quality of design, improve communications through documentation, and to create a database for manufacturing. Software Installed: AutoCAD, Pro-E/CATIA/UG, C, C++, VB etc.
